6 months - 6 months goes quickly when you're ill and busy.
It's an odd thing to say right? Ill and busy. To be honest, it doesn't stop - just because you're chronically ill doesn't mean your life stops; even if it feels like it does. Even if it feels like it should. In my case; my career came to an almighty stop at the age of 26. My personal life didn't stop though, my relationship continued and we're now engaged as I have written about previously. You seek other opportunities for life to have meaning.
Ok what am I rambling about, 6 months ago I was offered a volunteering opportunity that was very exciting and I took hold of with both hands! I've always been inclined to volunteer, I have a "large heart" as some say (thank god, not cardiomegaly). But for the last 6 months I have been exceedingly busy with volunteering that I let this blog and my Instagram fall to the way side because I couldn't manage everything. Then came the prolonged stay in hospital due to another unkind fight with Status Migrainosus and a lignocaine infusion. I've been busy changing the location of the wedding, and trying to keep everything together in the meantime. We have had the passing of loved ones, and the grief associated with that time. Am I saying I plan to post more often? No. Do I still remember this blog is here? Yes. Will I come back? Always.
